Sheppey Dads Matters

Sheppey Dads Matters is a support and social group to provide fathers, uncles, brothers, or any other male primary care giver living on the Isle of Sheppey a space and activities to spend more positively engaging time with their children, whether its simply reading a book together, playing games, or even exploring the world together. At Sheppey Matters, dads matter too.

The dads have been working with the community chef thanks to funding support from the Minerva Fund. We were lucky to have met the funders, very lovely people.

Over the years we have tackled problems like covid lockdown by providing video tutorials, recipes, and vouchers  so they could still produce a dish each month safely at home.

The group has grown in confidence, its also joyful seeing the children grow and them having the chance to try different or even new things!
