Sylvia Everest spent her life helping others, with caring for young people at the heart of her life as mother, grandmother and Lollipop lady. Sadly Sylvia passed away after contracting Covid-19, she was 72 and will be missed.
Many former pupils will fondly remember her as their Lollypop lady, as she guided them safely across the road to school. A role she did tirelessly in all weathers and conditions but always with a smile for over 25 years.
Syliva’s son has set up a tributes page in memory of his mum. Please visit here to pay your own tributes to Sylvia. She will remembered for her generosity, kindness and community spirit.
