Thank You for bearing with us whilst The Healthy Living Centre, our usual home, is undergoing regeneration as part of the Sheerness Revival Project. We are all very excited to return to our new look building, however, in the meantime all of our fantastic projects will continue to run as usual although in various temporary locations. Our Eastchurch Hub and the Sheppey Community Media Centre are both running the same as before and unaffected by building works. We also have a Brand New Sheppey Matters Shop, pictured above, which will hold many activities and is only a short walk from The Healthy Living Centre.

Our main office for admin and overall management of Sheppey Matters will be at The Gateway in Sheerness High Street, there will be no activities or public events held here though.

Eastchurch Community Hub

Eastchurch Community Hub, situated in the Village Hall has been one of our Sheppey Matters venues for a long time and will continue to provide all of the usual services, there will now be more activities running from here and more of our staff and volunteers will be based here.

Sheppey Matters Shop

Our New Sheppey Matters Shop space, situated on The Broadway, Sheerness, is a great new space to host groups, activities. This is also where members of the public can come in and find out about us and our many services or pop in for a chat.

Sheppey Community Media Centre

The Sheppey Community Media Centre is open as usual and remains unaffected by the building works, this is where our radio station Sheppey FM is based and the Tourist Information Centre. Our Saturday Youth Show and Work experience placements will be unaffected.

Thistle Hill Community Centre

We provide drop-in sessions on a weekly basis, run by the Inspire Me team – offering 1-1 support, a small number of free hot meals cooked by Grub Hub, along with a small selection of children’s school uniforms from our community wardrobe.
