Sheppey Matters was honoured to attend the High Sheriff of Kent’s awards evening on Friday 4th April at Rochester Cathedral.

Sheppey Matters was one of just five community groups to receive an award ‘in recognition of its valuable contribution to the community of Kent and Medway’.

The award was received by Rebecca Gebbie (deputy chief executive officer) and Nicola Waghorne (Inspire Me project manager). Sheppey Matters is grateful for the award, which recognises the hard work and dedication of the staff and volunteers in delivering the many projects on the Isle of Sheppey.
