New fundraiser Caroline, with the help of The Rotary Club for Minster-On-Sea, the generosity of Jenny Hurket for letting us use the Criterion Theatre, was able to pull off a porker of an event, pig racing to raise money for our Sheppey FM 92.2 Project, particularly towards our youth and SEN training.

There were 9 races in total, businesses that donated had pigs named after them and the public had the opportunity to buy pigs and enter the totes for each race, in total we raised almost £700 which is fantastic, thank you to all staff, volunteers and of course the public that came and supported this event. It was great fun!

A big shout out to all the businesses that helped with donations;

Arizona Diner, Rumours Cafe, Rule & Rule, Luna’s Cafe, Specsavers, The Flying Dutchman, Luke Allum Funeral Directors, The Queen Phillipa, Taisan and Gingers Hair Salon, The Red Lion, Whelans, Poppins Cafe, Kelly’s Nail Box, Kent Fresh Food, NK Holidays, Kem’s Antiques, Old House at Home, Jazz Vault, Sheppy Glass, Rendezvous, Kent Carpets, Cuddles and Bubbles, Nationwide and Cappellis.

Once again also thanks to the Criterion Bluetown and The Rotary Club of Minster-on-Sea.
