On Friday 30th January, Sheppey Matters was delighted to welcome the High Sheriff of Kent, Jonathan Neame, and his wife Mrs Neame, as part of their Sheppey Day visit.

The couple joined us at a Blue January event at our Eastchurch Community Hub, where they were warmly received by staff, volunteers, and community members. The morning was filled with tea, cake, crafts, and plenty of conversation, offering a relaxed and welcoming space to connect and share experiences.

We were honoured to host the High Sheriff and Mrs Neame and to showcase the important work taking place at Sheppey Matters, as well as the strong sense of community that makes our Hub such a special place.
